Commencement Recast Celebrates 2020 Grads

Valencia College’s 2020 graduates were celebrated again this past Sunday, June 28, 2020, during the 2020 Commencement Recast, a redesigned, online ceremony planned with student feedback.

The pre-recorded event featured addresses from College President Sandy Shugart, President of West and Downtown Campuses Falecia Williams, Vice President of Academic Affairs Isis Artze-Vega and the sharing of 2019-2020 Mary S. Collier Distinguished Graduate Tamyia Paul’s video speech. Also, District Board of Trustees Chair Tracey Stockwell conferred degrees to all graduating students.
