Custodial Team Uses New Technology to Clean Campus

The Custodial team on East Campus has been extremely busy during the last few months. Team members have been trained in procedures to disinfect the campus and clean COVID-contaminated areas while maintaining safety guidelines and Center for Disease Control protocols.
Additionally, the team is using the latest technology: electrostatic fogger sprayers. These easy-to-use sprayers apply disinfectants to surfaces and kill both bacteria and viruses. The patented application system places an electrostatic charge to liquid disinfectants as they leave the spray nozzle, which causes them to attach to any surface to help stop the spread of infections. Once sprayed, the solution takes about 10 minutes to kill bacteria and germs.
