With the fall term just around the corner, please plan on attending the Welcome Back events for East and Winter Park Campuses, where you can get to know new colleagues, reconnect with friends and prepare for the year ahead.
Please note that we are having one full-time faculty welcome back event (breakfast) and no RSVP is required.
West and Downtown Campuses, and District Office

Convocation beckons us to celebrate our amazing accomplishments and affirm our collective focus for the year ahead. It’s going to be a remarkable day, and I look forward to sharing it with you.
On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, faculty and staff from the West and Downtown Campuses and District Office are encouraged to participate as a region. Full-time faculty and staff who primarily work during the day will gather for the morning session, and part-time faculty and staff who primarily work during the evening will gather for the evening session.
On Friday, August 23, 2019, faculty and staff from the Downtown Campus will convene for a campus-specific program.

As the fall semester quickly approaches, planning is in full swing for the annual Fall Kickoff at our region’s campuses. This year’s programs will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, and I look forward to welcoming back our faculty and meeting new and returning students.
Also, our student leaders have created a video invitation for the Meet Your Professors event, which you can share with your students through Canvas to encourage their attendance.
