Follow #Destination16 on Social Media

Destination 2016, our annual professional development program that brings Valencia colleagues faculty-insight-news-idtogether to explore teaching and learning innovations, challenges and solutions, is underway.

New this year, the Faculty and Instructional Development team and event participants are sharing new strategies and methodologies discussed during the Destination program on social media — so, whether you can attend in person or not, you can take advantage of this learning experience. So, if you’re missing this year’s program or you are attending and want to chat about your experience or learn what’s happening in another Destination track, check out the TeachValencia page on Facebook and Twitter.

You may even recognize a few familiar faces as your colleagues post photos of their own active learning this summer using the hashtag, #Destination16.

As Destination participants post, tweet, like, comment and share, they will earn entries into a drawing — though, the best reward is being able to continue the conversation with each other and share information with colleagues who couldn’t join them in the program this year.
