Need Approval on a Car Loan or Apartment Rental? New Employment Verification Process Launched

If you need to provide proof of employment to obtain a car loan or rent an apartment on a Saturday afternoon, Valencia’s new employment verification process will no longer require you to wait until Monday morning.

The College is now using The Work Number to provide automated employment and income verification on employees. This fast, secure service provides results in a matter of minutes, even on weekends.

handshake-deal-groveThis means quicker processing on mortgage, auto and other loans, rental/lease agreements, government aid applications and services requiring proof of employment. Most lenders and leasing agencies are very familiar with The Work Number, and find it quick, convenient and easy to use.

The Work Number is a service of Equifax Workforce Solutions. Upon request, the company provides the following information to verify employment:

  • Name
  • Most recent date of hire
  • Termination date (if applicable)
  • Time employed at Valencia
  • Job title
  • Salary (the release of salary data requires specific employee authorization)
