Poinciana Campus “Topping Out”
ShareA Message from Kathleen Plinske, President, Osceola, Lake Nona and Poinciana Campuses
On Thursday, November 17, 2016, we celebrated the “Topping Out” of the Poinciana Campus, during which the highest beam was placed atop the structural frame of the campus’ first building.
The construction team, along with a team from Valencia, had the chance to sign the beam before it was installed. Two of our Osceola Campus student leaders also had a chance to sign the beam, writing a sweet note to future Poinciana students and including a depiction of the Osceola Clock Tower.
I’m pleased to report that construction on the Poinciana Campus continues on schedule, and the “topping out” represents a significant milestone.
We will continue to plan for a fall 2017 opening.
