The Center for Teaching/Learning Innovation Offers End-of-semester Support

A Message from Kathleen Plinske, President, Osceola, Lake Nona, and Poinciana Campuses

As you are looking forward to wrapping up the spring semester and preparing your courses for summer and fall, remember that the Centers for Teaching/Learning Innovation are here to support you.

Some of the top requests for this time of year include putting the final touches on the Faculty Incentive Plan or Associate Faculty Certificationsubmitting Canvas grades to Banner and enabling the New Gradebook in Canvas. With the new Canvas gradebook, you’ll experience enhanced features, such as multiple options to sort/filter assignments and alternate row colors for easier navigation, and, because Canvas will automatically enable it for all courses in August, it is recommended that you give yourself the luxury of learning it on your schedule by going to Settings – Feature Options – New Gradebook.

You can visit any Center for Teaching/Learning Innovation for support with these or any other course and professional development conversations.
