Valencia EDGE Moves to a Dynamic New System

As of today, January 22, all Valencia employees can now access the new, user-friendly Valencia EDGE interface.

The Valencia EDGE, an acronym for Employee Development, Growth and Engagement, is a comprehensive employee development program designed to strengthen essential employee competencies – critical success factors needed to perform in any role at the college. Born out of Strategic Goal #3 (Invest in Each Other), the Valencia EDGE complements and connects to the Performance Development Process (PDP).

Through this new system, employees can register for classroom workshops, most of which are facilitated by your peers, and register for over 1,000 online courses that can be launched and viewed anytime, from anywhere.

Enhancements to the Valencia EDGE interface include:

  • Access to the complete Valencia EDGE catalog
  • A customized dashboard based on your role at the college
  • Multiple modes to search and browse for training
  • Easy steps to register for training
  • Automated workshop reminders and Outlook calendar appointments
  • Access to printable transcripts to track your development progress

Watch the video tutorial below to learn how to login to the new interface. Once you login to the EDGE, you can access a vast array of additional video tutorials to learn how to navigate the new system.
