Steve Cunningham, an English Professor who was recently awarded a Fulbright Scholar grant to teach in Russia this year, has arrived safely in Orsk and is gradually settling in to his year of teaching English at the Humanities and Technology Institute – a branch of Orenburg State University.
In his blog, Steve writes:

I thought it was going to be a student dormitory. It is far from it…”
To continue reading about his first week in Orsk, Steve invites you to follow his Fulbright adventures through his blog, and to stay in touch with him during the year. Steve will also be checking his Outlook e-mail daily, so feel free to contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
During his first week, Steve was featured in one of Orsk’s online news agencies. You can check it out here: please note – it is written in Russian.
